Nalanda Resorts becomes Sree Gokulam Nalanda Resorts

Gokulam group of hotels has taken over Nalanda Resorts situated at Nileshwar in Kasaragod. Situated right on the national highway (NH 17) Nalanda is impossible to miss, as the only luxury resort miles around. Drive through the unspoilt district of Kasargod, in the very northern reaches of Kerala, which has been handpicked by the National Geographic Traveller, as one among the fifty must see destinations in the world and you would find the most exotic place to stay from Gokulam group of hotels - Nalanda Resort. The serene Nileshwaram River form a picturesque backdrop to Nalanda Resorts, tucked away in sprawling acres of greenery.

Speaking to Express Travelworld, Sabrish Gopalan, executive director, Sree Gokulam Hotel India said, "We are in the process of forming a chain of hotels in Kerala. We have brought over couple of hotels in Guruvayoor recently. Nalanda Resort in Nileshwar will be another addition to the list". This cosy little place with its unmatched facilities and services could make your ideal hideout. Take your pick from the five wonderful cottages or 16 a/c rooms, all rooms with unique woodwork and spectacular view from every window. "Kasaragod is finding a place in many of the operators package now. The destination even though not as famous as some other destinations in Kerala is definitely being noticed", he added.

Some of the facilities here include, conference hall with seating capacity of 50-75 pax, open air parties for up to 800 pax, badminton court, table tennis, beach volleyball, spacious lawn, discrete dialing, cyber café, sightseeing tours, laundry, doctor on call and ayurvedic treatments. "We are also planning a spa, swimming pool, new boating facility and a convention centre by January 2008", Gopalan concluded.
